Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.

Happiness is just a hairflip away.

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".
Tom Ford

Christian Lippich presented his first Dailyroutine collection at Stockholm Fashion Week, but unlike many on the schedule, he's not a newbie to the industry. Mr Lippich, who holds a graduate degree from the Royal College of Art in womenswear, has in his fifteen-year career worked in London (briefly for Alexander McQueen), in New York (at Elie Tahari), and elsewhere, as well as in his native Sweden. What he's proposing with his new line, he said post-show, is a "pre-styled wardrobe", and one that's based on "much more romantic menswear". In other words, don't look for edgy, tough-guy clothes at Dailyroutine. Inspired by the opening of Steven Spielberg's 1977 film "Close encounters of the third kind", Christian Lippich's desert-hued collection had a laid-back, tropical vibe, but there was nothing sloppy about it. The palms that he used throughout, using patterned jacquards and hand embroideries, certainly aren't native to Sweden, but the new man Christian Lippich envisions, in cropped pants, khaki camp shirts, and windbreakers, is everywhere to be seen.
