Álvaro Mel by Rainer Torrado
Born in Madrid, photographer Rainer Torrado moved to Paris after graduating from Madrid's Superior Technical School of Architecture where he acquired an eye for composition and improved his artistic skills and techniques. He soon committed to photography due to his interest in this art form and to a growing number of commissions. Aside from working closely with well known fashion designers and industry newcomers, brands and production agencies, he regularly contributes to international editions of fashion magazines like Vogue Paris, El País, Out, Vogue UK, Madame Figaro, just to name a few. His work photography will be featured in the group show "A brighter summer day" curated by Mini Choi & Michael Michaelmichael opening November 4 at Foster Eastman Gallery on 1442 West Pender Street in Vancouver BC, Canada.
