Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.

A NEW CLIP EVERY WEEK HERE

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".

Lostchild - "Town"

After the buzz-making EP "Dancing with boys" earlier this year, London lad Joe Copplestone aka Lostchild has just released his début single entitled "Town" -an ode to growing up different in the middle of nowhere- the first taste of his forthcoming sophomore EP, "Being loved when you know you're not good enough". The accompanying music video was directed by Phillip Reinking. If you like Troye Sivan and Bright Light Bright Light, you'll enjoy his inspiration from Eighties pop synths and Nineties dance beats. And for your information, the name Lostchild comes from the cover of Radiohead’s album "OK Computer".
"I grew up in a town called Banbury in the Midlands, UK, that no one has ever heard of. I always felt like an outsider, and growing up gay in a small town meant I felt lost and confused for most of my childhood and teen years, not really feeling like I could connect to anyone. It was a very tough time for me, and I know most gay kids go through it. But there is a world out there waiting for us all, and finding the self-belief to go out and find it was the best decision I ever made. 'Town' is about believing in yourself enough to know you deserve more from life than the cards you’re dealt", explained the singer-songwriter. Anyone who feels disconnected or rejected, like an outsider, or anyone who struggles with low self esteem, has a home in Lostchild's music.
