Hailing from Turkistan in Southern Kazakhstan, the city where the Mausoleum of Khawaja Ahmed Yasawi is located, Kairat Nurtasuly Aidarbekov made his début on the stage when he was ten years old in Baikonur, the city where the Russian Cosmodrome is located. He released his first album in 2006 but his breakthrough came when he gave his first solo concert in 2008 in Almaty aka Apple City, the largest conurbation in Kazakhstan near the Kyrgyz border. Although his level of recognition was low, after that gig, his popularity started a continuous rise. He has interpreted songs by prominent Kazakh composers such as Shamshy Kaldayakov, Aset Beiseuov, Erzhan Serikbayev. At the end of 2013, Kairat Nurtas topped the rating of the most popular stars in his country according to Forbes Kazakhstan. And "Жұбатуға арналады бұл әнім" ('Song dedicated to comfort') is the title of his brand new video directed by Egor Lymarev.
