Zhang Yixing aka Lay is a Chinese versatile artist who's part of Asian boybands Exo and its sub-unit Exo-M. He first became known after participating in the Chinese talent show "Star Academy" in 2005. But in 2000, aged 9 only back then, he appeared in a Chinese television show as the fanclub member of actor / singer Jimmy Lin, giving him his first contact with the entertainment industry. After being introduced as the sixth member of Exo, the boys released their début single in 2012 (here on Morphosis). In September 2015, he released his autobiography titled "Standing firm at 24", which broke several online book records ( 68,537 copies in the first 24 minutes of pre-sales). He released his début solo single, "Monodrama", in May 2016 (there on Morphosis). In July 2016, Lay was appointed by Changsha's Communist Youth League of China as its publicity ambassador, the first celebrity to hold this title. And he turns 25 today, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY !
