Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.

Happiness is just a hairflip away.

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".

Michał Szpak - "Rosanna"

Hailing from Jasło, a small town in southern Poland, Michał Szpak is a singer who reached fame on the first season of the Polish "X Factor" in 2011. He released his début album, "Byle być sobą " ('Anything to be myself') in November 2015. Titled as a reflection of his life and frame of mind at 24 years following the unexpected death of his mother, the album includes twelve songs performed in Polish as well as in English. On May 12th, 2016, he represented his country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden with the song "Color of your life" (here on Morphosis). All in all, he won third place from the public tele-voting and ended up benefiting from the new voting system. Despite being in second to last place with the juries, he leapt from 7 points to 229 when public votes were added, and finished eighth overall. After "Jesteś bohaterem " ('You're a hero'), "Byle być sobą " ('Anything to be myself') and "Such is life" (click on titles to be redirected), the personable über-long-haired Pole has just released a fifth single video from his album. Entitled "Rosanna", this rock ballad was written by Andy Palmer with English lyrics by Kamil Varen. Filmed in Świnoujście by the Baltic Sea in the extreme north-west of Poland, the promo video follows Michał Szpak on and off stage during his tour. And just in case you wonder, yes, he does paint his nails !
