You discovered him on Morphosis when he was only 12 back in 2010 (here). Now 18½, American singer/musician Greyson Chance is back with a much anticipated single titled "Back to the Wall" lifted from his second EP, "Somewhere over my head", touted as soulful pop with a modern twist, with his R&B, funk and jazz influences sprinkled throughout, which is set to be released May 13. This electro-pop stomper is a sort of us-against-the-world anthem, the one you’d blast during those romantic windows down, sing-along late night drives with your bae. The accompanying music video was directed by Rage. "Considering I had not released a music video in (...) years, I wanted to come back with a video that showed a more mature side", said Greyson. "[This song] and this upcoming EP is all about reintroducing myself as who I am now, and letting people know that I am not just the 12-year-old kid anymore". The teenager still nails his vocal range. His normal, deep voice is interspersed with high notes that really drive the song home.
