When he was a kid, American country singer Brandon Stansell had a dream : he wanted to move to Nashville. Which he actually did when he turned 18. He spent five years out there before he left for New York City and then eventually landed in Los Angeles. Which has inspired this California country sound he has spent the past year writing towards. Call it care-free country music with a theme of optimism, and taking chances on things that could just be worth the risk. After the touching video for "Dear John" (here on Morphosis), the cowboy is back on track with "Slow down" and a sequel video once again directed by Trent Atkinson where Brandon Stansell seems decided to take it slow with his new love interest, openly gay country singer Ty Herndon (not in real life though). The eponymous EP will be launched tonight at The Springs in LA.
