British studio Fantich & Young have revisited the formal Savile Row Oxford shoe by replacing a regular rubber sole with hundreds of dentures. The 'Apex predator' transforms the elegant shoe, inlaying 1050 fake teeth and accompanies an entire suit made of human hair and glass eyes. Apex predators are predators with no predators of their own, residing at the top of their food chain. Mariana Fantich and Dominic Young have been working together since 2008. Their work address parallels between social evolution and evolution in the natural world : nature as a model or nature as a threat.
