Photographer Andy Freeberg was born in New York City and currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area, alternating his commercial assignment work with personal projects. His photographs have appeared in numerous books and publications and in many private and public collections. His fine art prints are available through the Clark Gallery in Boston and the Kopeikin Gallery in LA. He released a book of photographs published in 2010 about the women who guard the art in Russian museums. Andy Freeberg has recently also developed a series of images depicting the goings on behind the scenes of the art world entitled 'Art fare'. Each from his collection were captured between the years of 2009 through 2011 at Art Basel Miami, Art Basel Switzerland,
and the Armory Show in New York City, as well as several other similar gatherings. The result is a compilation of contemplative photographs picturing recently showcased artworks alongside the individuals who help to generate interest and sell these prized pieces.
