Hailing from Igrejnha near Porto Alegre in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazilian model Mateus Almeida, 20, was scouted at Projeto Passarela by Sergio Mattos of 40 Graus. He then started a career in modeling last year. Made popular around the world by an extensive series of pictures by Didio, he has eventually reached fame on the international scene. He is currently busy working in Shanghai, China.
