Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.

Happiness is just a hairflip away.

A NEW CLIP EVERY WEEK HERE

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".

Sebastian Sauve (part 43)
by Stuart Sandford

Inspired by Greco-Roman depictions of the youth Antinous (Hadrian's lover), Michelangelo's David, Charles Ray's Boy with Frog and the myth of Narcissus, the finished work will be a larger-than-life steel sculpture entitled Sebastian, which will be painted white to give the look and feel of marble. The statue will be exhibited in London in December 2012 and then internationally.
Thanks to a handful of investors, the first part of the project is already complete (3D scanning, 3D printing) but in order to raise funds for the completion of the full-size statue Stuart Sandford has just launched a fundraising campaign via Indiegogo, a crowdfunding website. There are two smaller identical limited edition versions of the statue available, a 6 inch (15 cm) version and 20 inch (50 cm) version, as well as signed posters and prints, a tank top/vest and a meet and greet and dinner with Sebastian Sauve, amongst other things. These items range from £6/$10 to £3,200/$5,000 and you can find all of them on the project's Indiegogo page here.
There's also a project website which details the process and inspirations behind the statue, with lots of pics and other info as the project progresses. The project website can be found there.
