If he had not chosen music, Manuel Armstrong would have been an oceanographer. The salty texture of his voice speaks volumes about his attraction for backpackers, ports and wrecks. Leader of Daddy longlegs, an indie rock band that forged their rhythm identity with Argentine and Venezuelan musicians, Manuel Armstrong offers a confrontation between lyrics and music. His songs are soundtracks. Navigating in territorial waters that belong to him only. Between rock and French chanson, Clint Eastwood and Corto Maltese, he cultivates these contradictions to enrich his imagination. "Big bang" is his début single from his upcoming first solo album.
