Osman Balkan is a German photographer of Turkish descent who starves to capture these moments on a piece of paper or film and show it to the world, being fascinated by contemplative instants, honesty, spontaneity and natural light. Inspired by music and the stories of the people he gets to know, he sticks to old-fashioned analog film photography as his main tool of the art. He skillfully uses natural lightning to emphasize the beauty in nature. His biggest challenge in life is to answer the question whether truth can be adequately stored within an image.
