Sean O'Pry by Jörgen Ringstrand
Born and raised in Malmö, Southern Sweden, Jörgen Ringstrand started photography at the age of 12 when he built his first camera obscura and a small darkroom. Inspired by photojournalism and the works of Koudelka, Sebastian Salgado and Magnum photographers, he walked the streets of Copenhagen and berlin, and documented what he saw, leading to his first solo exhibition at the age of 16. He also started a biannual art magazine focusing on photography that he published for four years before he decided to stop it to study psychology at Lund University. He spent three years there before quitting to concentrate on photography again.
The first bound book by Jörgen Ringstrand has just been released. "Faces of men" features portraits of the most popular contemporary male models such as Garett Neff, Josh Beech, Marcel Castenmiller, Isaac Weber, Paolo Anchisi ,Kim Dall`Armi, Ollie Edwards, Reid Prebenda, Tyson Ballou, Miles McMillan, David Agbodji, Ryan Kennedy, Jacques Naude, Sean O´Pry, Taylor Fuchs, Tyler Riggs, Ben Hill, Benoni Loos, Oskar Tranum, Matvey Lykov, Mark Cox, Clément Chabernaud, Thomas Aoustet, William Eustace, RJ Rogenski, Ian O’Brien, Charlie France, Vladimir Ivanov, Willy Cartier and Patrick Petitjean. Eye-candy for anyone who is either into men or fashion (or both).
