Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.

Happiness is just a hairflip away.

A NEW CLIP EVERY WEEK HERE

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".

Matt Corby - "Brother"

Hailing from Sidney, Australia, Matt Corby has certainly carved a unique path for someone who started his career aged 16 on a reality TV talent show in 2007. In 2009, he independently released his début EP 'Song for...' before relocating to London. His songs and vocals elicit a sensation that is nothing short of captivating. Having previously been compared to legendary artists such as Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley, his tunes continue to deliver a uniqueness and maturity well beyond his years while his live performances have become renowned for bringing large audiences to a complete stand still. After spending the last few months writing, Matt Corby spent most of September 2011 recording his latest EP, 'Into the flame', showcasing a fresh injection of soulful growling vocals and bluesy melodies bound together with his already unique style of melodic folk. Lyrically raw and endearingly honest, his songs take the listener through an introspective and heartfelt journey. The EP also features a duet with his friend and keyboardist Bree Tranter, previously of Australian band The Middle East. No wonder the album has already gone gold. He will be touring Australia in February and he'll reach Los Angeles in March.
Today Morphosis have you discover Matt Corby with a live acoustic performance of his lead track "Brother" shot by James L Brown at Porch & Parlour Cafe in North Bondi in the Eastern suburb of Sydney.
