Stelios Koudounaris was born in Cyprus in 1981 and raised in a family-run fashion business. After studying fashion design and garment manufacture, he moved to Athens, Greece and worked as a fashion designer and stylist for a leading brand. And after nine women's collections under his own label, this is his first men's offering. Reportedly designed for a modern alchemist. A man looking, asking and maybe a bit eccentric, in any case someone observant and aware. Deviating from what others consider normal, the alchemist creates his own mild explosive power of normality. Coming easy to ideas, he makes new impressions clean, genuine and not obvious. The collection investigated all the established rules of elegance and real experiences and emotions, between pure signs of rigor and claims of eccentricity. Classic timeless materials, precision in manufacturing and comfortable proportions in the implementation were the main design principles of the collection, which sort of denies everything that is not necessary, thus creating an integrated and easy-to-wear all day proposal. The palette is deep and dark : black, anthracite, burgundy, ink blue and soft brown in the hand-made leather belts that complement the collection with the boots of American designer Jeffrey Campbell.
