Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.

Happiness is just a hairflip away.

A NEW CLIP EVERY WEEK HERE

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".

Model : Claude Simonon (part 8)

Clause Simonon leads an enviable double life. With his sultry eyes, full lips and sky-high cheekbones, he's easily one of the hottest new faces in modeling. His good genes come courtesy of parents Paul Simonon, bass player of The Clash, and his ex-wife Tricia Ronane, who manages the legendary Brit punk band's estate. But Clause is neither spoilt nor self-regarding. This amiable 16-year-old model is also a conscientious student who likes nothing better than playing sports and hanging out. This authenticity, combined with his great looks, is surely what inspired family friend Hedi Slimane to suggest Claude and his brother Louis for an editorial in DAZED & Confused's 2009 'Teenage takeover' issue. The snapper took atmospheric black & white shots featuring a pair of irresistible models. They'd never even considered the job before two stars were born. The brothers (pictures below) are now represented by London's Storm Models, the agency that launched Kate Moss. Claude Simonon has already developed an impressive portfolio. Hedi Slimane photographed Claude and Louis again for the Prada SS09 campaign. John Galliano, a friend of their mother's, booked them for his show of the same season. Since then, Claude has appeared in editorials for many fash mags including LOVE, GQ Style Italia, Arena Homme +, Vogue Hommes International, Vogue Hommes Japan and in the current issue of Indie (view previous parts on Morphosis). He admits modeling's usually quite fun but trying to fit traveling to different parts of London between classes for some shoots can be a bit difficult (he lives in Ealing Broadway, West London). And as fashion's never really been a hobby of his, he never thought that he'd wind up modeling.
