Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.

A NEW CLIP EVERY WEEK HERE

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".

Black Room - "What is it that you want ?"

In a room without windows, overfilled with synthesizers, guitars, records and computers, the creativity of three minds form the band Black Room (formerly known as Lorraine). By naming their album "Pop Noir", they pretty much summarize their own sound in two words. The three Norwegians got together over a common passion for moody pop, electronic sounds and live performances, making their own musical universe. Mixing catchy melodies with influences from more beat-oriented music is their trademark, and the band deliver an engraving live-show with lead singer Ole in front, suitably flanked by synthman Paal and guitarist Anders. The name Black Room was taken after the house they rehearsed in burned down to the ground, leaving little behind except songs for an album.
This brand new single entitled "What is that you want ?" marks the band's first release since releasing their LP. Their music is best described as atmospheric synth pop featuring vivid pop melodies with a subtle rock edge that create a sweeping sonic soundscape. The new track stays true to their brand of pop but introduces clubbier production stylings. Powerful and promising new music that comes with a fresh new twist on their signature sound.
