A.Hallucination is a new London-based menswear brand that reflects modern English dandy, the character of a proper British gentleman augmented with contemporary detailing. Designed for young men who value quality and smart dressing as an important aspect of life, the garments are translatable for work, casual and evening activities, and present a sleek sophisticated look for everyday wear. For their sophomore collection, designers Hwan Sung Park and Chung Chung Lee, both graduates from Central Saint Martins, presented a seductive array of interchangeable pieces and sharp tailoring to take the wearer effortlessly from work to parties and maybe worn either as casual or formal attire. Using mostly ambiguous colors from gray and brown to green and navy, the design duo stay true to their label's name in which the A stands for 'auditory'. Fabrics however were chosen to push the theme using cotton, linen, wool jersey and in particular technical fabric and latex to present the element of lightness in a paper plane. "We think the mix of classic fabrics and modern design represent the true London. It's like how the Saint Paul Cathedral and Millennium Bridge go very well together", they say.
