Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.
Thomas Bettinelli

Happiness is just a hairflip away.

A NEW CLIP EVERY WEEK HERE

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".

William Richard Green -vision

25-year old Central Saint Martins graduate and new menswear designer, William Richard Green showed a coat made out of rabbit furs with buttons cast out of their bones for his graduate collection. He normally associates fur with what he describes as vulgar glamour. He dooen't go out of his way to use it. This European perspective is in contrast to the mainstream commercial perspective, which is driven by the vulgar 'sex sells' marketing and branding mantra; designers who are about as interesting as vanity and ignorance can make them. William Richard Green also uses rugged found materials such as denim, rope or wool, and sturdy, for subtly reconfigured sportswear shapes. His use of found shapes is indicative of an understanding of contemporary postmodern art and the usage of found objects as works of art. His artistic vision combines a masculine utilitarianism with technical innovation, underscored by a dark macabre sense of humor. Masculinity doesn't have to be conformist and mainstream, if one has a broader perspective.
