Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.

Happiness is just a hairflip away.

A NEW CLIP EVERY WEEK HERE

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".

William Richard Green -sou'wester

The playful and coolly masculine signature of William Richard Green takes its point of departure in an unregimented outdoorsy upbringing. Born in 1985 in the countryside of Worcestershire, WRG work reflects a certain boyish approach to life, moulded by a free-spirited nature instilled early in his genes. Having trained on Savile Row under Henry Poole as well as the classic furrier, Hockley, Mr Green set out to re-sculpt the conformist token elements of modern menswear. In 2009, he earned a degree from Central Saint Martins, receiving international acclaim for his high-end mens casualwear, or what he dubbed a collection of wearable manly menswear. A self-proclaimed anti-conceptualist, the London-based designer works predominantly with denim and leisurewear fabrics and focuses on the re-contextualisation of conventional textiles in relation to his themes, which are often of a frivolous or perhaps humorous gender. William Richard Green lists the gloominess of vintage science fiction, the idea of the lad, and a well-travelled mind as his sources of invention.
