Kiwi model Peter Cairns, 24, hails from Upper Hutt, Wellington in New Zealand. The gawky schoolboy mocked for his fiery ginger locks is blazing a trail on the international scene. The proud redhead concedes that strutting his stuff down Paris catwalks and gracing magazines, from Vogue Italia to the newest issue of LOVE (last 2 pics), was the last job he expected to be doing -till life changed when he was scouted on a London street. His biggest break so far was being paid $7000 and flown to Paris by Dior for five days in a hotel, one outfit and a 50m walk down a runway (3 pics with a headband). A scenario he found hard to comprehend. He said his unusual appearance made him stand out at casting calls and he was not bothered by jokes about his hair color.
