Chicago-based photographer Allan Spiers was born and raised in Lima, Peru. He moved to the United States with his family when he was 13. After years of admiring most of the stock photography used in his career as a graphic artist, Allan Spiers decided to challenge his abilities and began to explore the world of photography in 2001.
