Frequent and long journeys throughout the Far East and a common passion for the visionary film stories of Quentin Tarentino : Tom Notte and Bart Vandebosch, the designers behind Les Hommes as you know, found their inspiration to design this season's collection in the combination of these elements. Cities like Tokyo and Hong Kong, with their very fast life pace, their frenetic modernity in deep contrast with the strong traditional culture -that however also seem to amalgamate perfectly- design an ideal horizon along which the Les Hommes man moves with confidence. The sensation of contemporaneity with its multitude of facets and meanings reflects in the collection that recalls, in part, the energy and intensity of "Kill Bill". In-depth research into the most classical oriental clothing, from the battle uniform of the Samurai and martial art jackets to the traditional hakama pants, has led to the development of sophisticated silhouettes. The color palette finds its own strong point in black and white; strong decisive tones such as electric blue, red and bright pink give accents of color, both through accessories (belts, ties, shades) as well as through a total look in which the use of technological iridescent materials gives a spirited look.
In one word : I heart Les Hommes.
