Cem Adrian


Cem Adrian, soon 28, is a Turkish artist of Yugoslavian origin. He studied music, theater and photography and finally started a career in music while working within a radio. Praised by critics and audiences for his voice with a range of almost 6.5 octaves, he released in 2005 his first demo album, "Ben bu Şarkıyı sana yazdım" (Turkish for 'I wrote this Song to you'), which contains some of the tracks he recorded over the years. His first studio album, "Aşk bu gece Şehri terk etti" ('Love has left the City tonight') came out the year after.
Cem Adrian released his third album this year. It is called "Essentials / Seçkiler", which is a collection of well-known Anatolian folk songs presented with new arrangements.
He will perform on October 23rd in Ankara.
