Sophie Albou is a Paris-born designer who is best known as the founder of the Paul & Joe clothing line. She trained at the Institut Français de la Mode, landed a position at Azzedine Alaia at the age of 16, and ultimately created the Paul & Joe brand in 1995 (the label name comes from the names of Albou's two sons aged 12 and 15, respectively). Catering to men, women, and children alike, the Paul & Joe brand is sold in over 30 flagship stores around the world, including locations in Paris, London, and Tokyo, as well as high-end retailers worldwide.
