Patrizia Pepe
Patrizia Pepe is a Florence-based company set up in 1993 by two Tuscan entrepreneurs, Patrizia Bambi and Claudio Orrea. They produced their first mens collection in 2005. The winning philosophy behind the brand devotes great attention to the fashion world where Patrizia Bambi expresses her ideal of what people should look.
Diesel
Founded in Molvena, North-Eastern Italy in 1978 by Renzo Rosso and his former boss Adriano Goldschmied, Diesel has attracted a following of fashion-forward fans who love the label's edgy design. The company is famed for its jeans (well-worn, dirty, and industrial for the most part), with DieselStylelab functioning as the offshoot for the more luxurious, experimental -and, of course, expensive- creations. The quasi-military fabrics, like leather, denim, and canvas, are often offset by eye-catching details like ruffled trims, extraneous zippers, and jagged seams—perfect for the urban, club-happy crowd that snatches them up.
Diesel's milestone years include 1985 (Renzo's complete acquisition of the company), 1991 (beginning of the international marketing strategy) and 1996 (opening of Diesel's first flagship store on New York City's Lexington Avenue). The Diesel name is licensed to other companies to produce footwear, leather goods, eye wear, jewelry, wristwatches produced by major time-piece brand and company Fossil, as well as fragrances (held by French beauty megatrust L'Oreal), and other accessories for men and women.
