Happiness is to be found when in pursuit of it, in the soothed expectation, on the way, not only upon the arrival. Accepting detours, just going the way, which is anyhow not this obvious to anyone.

Happiness is just a hairflip away.

A NEW CLIP EVERY WEEK HERE

"The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they're online, the world sees them. They don't get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They're in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They're overexposed, you're tired of them, they've lost their freshness".

B-rude

Ever wondered what you get if you cross a Hackney rude doll with a trannie? Boy George has the answer, as a procession of Vicky Pollards glittered up like Lily Savage sauntered down the runway, charmingly flicking "V" signs to the audience, wearing pink tracksuits adorned with sparkly red crabs. Taking the "rude" title as inspiration, the artist and his design partner Mike Nichols looked to street style in what is his second foray into fashion, with jersey tracksuits quirkily cut and folded, emblazoned with glittering graffiti and depictions of jizz. Which is de-lovely…
Boy George gives a passing nod to his rebellious days as a punk with a repeated safety pin motif covering black lacquered jackets and dishevelled white shirts, but his message is one of irony, humour and deliberate bad taste rather than a serious stance as a fashion contender. As one of the founding members of the 1980s club movement, it’s surprising that Boy George would allow current club kids such as Gareth Pugh to take up the mantle of Leigh Bowery so freely, when he has the opportunity to do so in his own catwalk show. After his recent stint of community service, perhaps the frequent "V" signs that confronted the cameras and the swear words written over the clothes are a response to his critics. In that sense, Boy George's non-conformist streak is as strong as ever.
